We are delighted to announce our partnership with Pickersgill-Kaye, a market leader in the robust door lock sector.

Pickersgill-Kaye, part of ASSA ABLOY, are responsible for producing locks used in the railway industry, high-security sector and more. The Leeds-based company is renowned for its 8-lever Kaye Class 1 Custodial Cell Lock, which is used all over the world by police forces and prisons.

As part of the partnership, we will be providing a cutting service of aluminium, brass and steel. We are also delivering a precision cutting and stock management service for aluminium and brass extrusions.

Mark Sugden, Managing Director of John W Laycock Ltd, said: “It is a very interesting project for us. Pickersgill-Kaye approached us to provide an accurate cutting service. We have met with them on several occasions and had a tour of their assembly line.

“It is amazing to see the production of their locks, as they are all made by hand. They are a proper lock maker and set the bar high when it comes to the quality of their products. We are really excited about teaming up with such a long-established Yorkshire business.”
