We love hearing all about the projects our customers are doing and have recently been shared some very impressive work by DNG Fabrication. The company, run by Dominic and Graham, create bespoke pieces of furniture using our steel and reclaimed scaffold board.
From breakfast bars and dining tables to candle holders and plant stands, DNG Fabrication handcraft every item they create and it can all be made to the customer’s exact dimensions. Each piece of furniture is made with a mild steel welded frame, generally finished with a Matt Black (other colours are available) rust proofing paint.
All the tops are made from reclaimed scaffold board, which is planed and hand sanded to a smooth finish.
Graham said: “We have also been asked to apply varnish and leave completely natural. Other finishes may be available on request. If a customer has an idea or a picture of a piece they have seen, we’re more than happy to discuss these.
“We currently run this business part-time, alongside our full-time jobs as spot welders. However, we are currently looking for a small showroom and hope to go full time within the next 6-12 months.”
