We’ve recently supported our friends at Keighley Cougars with steel for a new first-team gymnasium.
Two of the first team players, Jake Webster and Josh Chapman came down to visit the Laycock’s team and have a look around.
Jake Webster was very enthusiastic about the new set-up: “the facilities here at Cougar Park are fantastic and this gym is now better than most Super League clubs”. Keighley Cougars have been a central part of the Keighley community and we’re proud to have our steel supporting the team’s training.
GM Engineering did all the fabrication and we provided the steel beams and columns.
Our very own Lauren Facey and GM Engineering Director, Gary Marshall, went to inspect the gym and Lauren got stuck in lifting weights.
Josh Chapman commented that the gym has doubled in size as a result of putting this new structural steelwork in place – it looks great – its made an area where all the forward pack can train safely together”
